Catching up.

Dustin and I just ran a half marathon called "Shun the Sun" It was to help raise money and awareness for skin cancer(I absolutely LOVE how all the races are for such great causes). Aside from the 5k we did last weekend this is our first official race in AZ! It was so well organized and so much fun to be a part of. We ran by the Mesa Temple and on of the most memorable moments was watching a blind woman run with her husband as her guide. It was so inspiring and what an example that woman was of overcoming her challenge. Dustin and I both got our best times....Dustin: 1:34(2nd in Age Group) and Myself: 1:51(5th in Age Group). Such a great memory we will always share together(We couldn't thank you enough Mandy and Ryan for watching our kids at 6am : )

Pic taken at 6am before the race.
This little "dirt head" is what I look at while I do dishes everyday. Dalan made this little man at preschool and I absolutely adore it. Dal and I both religiously water him and trim his hair. Just one of those simple joys in life that makes me smile : )

HALLOWEEN 2010
Dustin: Popeye
Me: Olive Oyl
Dalan: Batman
Macie: Little Red
Riding Hood

(Not very good pics this year....just a warning)
Loves at the ward party

Listening to Storytime in their costumes....
After stories all the little kids did a costume parade around the library and got little goodies. SO CUTE!

Macie trying to figure out how to take off her costume......

I threw a kid Halloween party at our house. We had a lot of fun playing games and eating tons of sugar.

Bobbing for apples

I love your Halloween costumes! Rainer is a Batman fan - he loves Dallin's costume!

I think Macie's costume is adorable and oh so German! The story of Little Red Riding Hood is from the Brothers Grimm story collection - in German: Rotkäppchen.

You are always so creative with Halloween costumes!

Of course any marathon or sporting athletic event that you guys take part in is extremely inspiring to me.

Fun! Joe and I were Popeye and Olive Oyl this year, too! I think it was the trendy costume of the year. ;)

Great costumes all around! Josh and I were not very festive this year. We didn't even wear so much as a t-shirt that says "this is my Halloween costume."
We'll have to make up for it next year and go all out. ;-)

Maybe it's not my place to say this, but someone should tell Dustin to lay off the pipe if he wants to keep racing, biking, swimming, etc.
hahahahahha
